Weird bug in recent installers
Hello all, While not official, I've been finding that the crux.ninja ISOs seem to have an issue in the installer where if I select core, opt and xorg together, the installer tries to progress, but it throws up "Abort install?" and the only answer it lets me choose is yes, selecting no just leaves the message on the screen. My workaround has been to only select core and opt together, which seems to work fine. Then I go back and "upgrade" the install. anyone else seeing this?

Hello, I'm currently not able to duplicate this. I did find a related issue caused by not selecting a boot loader, but selecting all collections at once works fine here. I just tested with the latest ISO from 2024-08-10 with md5sum ad5fcf58da52dec16c2c98a82ff6b29f and wasn't able to reproduce the problem. Are you using an older ISO or is this happening with multiple versions of it? Regards, Matt
Ahh... good point. I'm not selecting bootloaders because I'm efi-stub booting. I never used to have this issue with 3.7 or 3.6.1, I wondered if something changed in 'setup' recently or something. On Thu, Aug 15, 2024 at 11:32 AM Matt Housh <jaeger@crux.ninja> wrote:

I... I have absolutely no idea what any of this means. something security related failed.. which is like.. definitely not something that's new to me, especially coming from my phone, which is absolute trash. If what you're saying is indicative that there's something majorly wrong with my phone, that'd be cool to know. On Thu, Aug 15, 2024 at 1:37 PM Steffen Nurpmeso <steffen@sdaoden.eu> wrote:
