Edit tags in flac and others

Hi, What would you suggest to use to edit tags in flac (and other music) files? Obviously easily available in Crux. Thanks, Wawrzek -- Dr Wawrzyniec Niewodniczański or Wawrzek for short PhD in Quantum Chemistry & MSc in Molecular Engineering WWW: http://wawrzek.name E-MAIL: jobs@wawrzek.name Linux User #177124

Easytag, but you might want to update the port available from crux repo db. Or use mine (attached). Needs a bit of cleaning up, but works. Pedja

If you don't mind python package manager, pip, I find beets[1] to be a fantastic music tagger. It keeps a db of all imported music, great command line interface, sources Music Brainz library. Very configurable through config file as well. [1] http://beets.radbox.org/ Hope that helps! -- Jawbo <jared at fastmail dot cee oh em>

Thank all of you for suggestion. I like pip and find it very good extension for Crux packaging system, so I'll start from beets. If you use KDE I recommend Kid3 <http://kid3.sourceforge.net/>.

Thanks, Wawrzek
I like console apps, so I use ncmpcpp to edit tags. It's an mpd client. Awkward name though. Not to be confused with ncmpc. M.
