
Hello dhcpcd 3.1.9 (core) does not work. output: "eth0 timeout..." The same, with crux-2.4 iso, downgrade to 3.0.0 works fine? Tested on 2 different computers. pc 1 (via_rhine) pc 2 (e100) Any hints? Sorry, for my bad EN :-) Regards Ronny

Well I'm not an expert on this but I stumbled over this too :-) Between the 3.0 and the 3.1 series there was a change of the way the dhcp demon talks to your router. It passes not only the MAC but also a DUID string which your router (and mine) do not understand. Lookup man dhcpcd for the -I switch or putting echo "#undef ENABLE_DUID" >> config.h in the Pkgfile would be an option. Ciao Vincenzo -- ---| http://vico.kleinplanet.de |---
