Line editing in the GRUB boot menu seems to be broken. If I press 'e' twice on a menu entry and type anything, only garbage appears on the screen. - Possibly a side effect of (according to documentation) "heavily patching"? Regards, Bernd

Not sure what would cause this, I frequently use that feature without any trouble. Is your grub port modified from the current crux version? Matt (jaeger@freenode/#crux)

No, it's 0.95 from the core collection. It happens only on one machine, an IBM Thinkpad (the one where I had trouble installing Crux via a USB CDROM). No problems on a normal PC. Not a big deal, however, I'll put some additional entries in the menu.lst instead. Bernd
