keyboard and mouse usb collapse on graphic mode

It's really great: I have managed to boot the graphic mode with xfce4 with success for the first time, however, the keyboard and mouse usb, that in text mode are perfect, both collapse on graphic mode. Their leds show they are connected to the system but none of them function. below is the output of #lsusb and the pastebin of xorg.0.log with some information about the keyboard and the mouse usb # lsusb Bus 009 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub Bus 008 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub Bus 007 Device 003: ID 045e:00b0 Microsoft Corp. Tks James so something different is making the mouse and keyboard collapse on graphic mode as rebuilding did not solve it. Em 09/01/2015 13:51, "James Trimbee" <james.trimbee@gmail.com> escreveu:

Technically this would not do the job. 'xorg-server' does NOT depend on the input and video drivers; the 'xorg' meta-port, on the other hand, does. A more useful command in this case would be: prt-get update -fr $(prt-get listinst | egrep 'xorg-xf86-(input|video)') Note that this will rebuild both the input and the video drivers. In your case, where the mouse and keyboard aren't working, the video driver rebuild isn't really necessary. However, this command is useful for future upgrades of xorg-server anyway. Hope this helps, Matt
