Install and boot CRUX 2.6, please advice
For installation of CRUX 2.6 on my laptop, I made these partitions: 1. /dev/sda1 - /boot , ext3 2. /dev/sda2 - / , ext4 (!) 3. /dev/sda3 - swap It it possible to install and boot for this configuration ? And what will be better for using - lilo or Grub ? (And how, please advice ...) P.S. Thank you and sorry for my not so good english language ...

Yes, that should work with both lilo and grub. lilo doesn't care what kind of filesystem your kernel image is stored on, but grub still doesn't handle ext4. In this case that shouldn't matter though since you're using ext3 for /boot. I'd recommend using a separate partition for /home though :) Regards, Tilman -- A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text. Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
