I've been using CRUX for about 6 months now and I'm getting more familiar with it, but would like to explore a bit more. My idea is to build my packages in a chrooted or even dual booted environment in order to create a somewhat binary version of my system. Is anyone on the list doing something like this? Or am I just being silly?

There is a few projects to build ports in a chroot other than the manual way. http://crux.nu/Wiki/ChrootTesting I have http://romster.dyndns.org:8080/linux/ports/crux/romster/safe-build/ and http://romster.dyndns.org:8080/linux/ports/crux/romster/safe-build-dev/ If you browse the mailing list http://news.gmane.org/gmane.linux.distributions.crux.general you'll find others like safe-env, nipaul has one too and I can't remember of any others.
