question about contrib-admin@crux.nu
Good day! I have some problem when i try to register my own repo in crux portdb. I have send email to contrib-admin@crux.nu. But, after some time (about 24 hours) i received next email: ====================================================================== This message was created automatically by mail delivery software. A message that you sent has not yet been delivered to one or more of its recipients after more than 24 hours on the queue on fsm1.ukr.net. The message identifier is: 1McK3d-000L4G-3y The date of the message is: Sat, 15 Aug 2009 17:15:21 +0000 The subject of the message is: new repository, few quastions The address to which the message has not yet been delivered is: contrib-admin@crux.nu Delay reason: SMTP error from remote mail server after RCPT TO:<contrib-admin@crux.nu>: host mx-gtw4.dnsnoc.net [213.132.114.83]: 450 4.7.1 Service unavailable; Sender address [younghead@ukr.net] blocked using dsn.rfc-ignorant.org; Not supporting null originator (DSN) No action is required on your part. Delivery attempts will continue for some time, and this warning may be repeated at intervals if the message remains undelivered. Eventually the mail delivery software will give up, and when that happens, the message will be returned to you. ====================================================================== Is contrib-admin still alive, or how can i add my crux-ports repository to crux.nu/portdb? Sorry for my horrible english. Thanks for your time!

Please see: http://www.rfc-ignorant.org/policy-dsn.php Lucas Hazel <lucas@die.net.au> and Simon Glossner <viper@hometux.de> are currently our contrib-admins. If contacting them won't succeed, notice me and I will see what I can do for you. kind regards, Thomas Penteker --

Good day! Thomas and Lucas, thanks for your responces. I'm somewhat new to email and mailing-lists. And i have some problems to sending mail to contrib-admin and to Lucas. I can't send repo information to that addresses, so, i will publish it here: repo name: 'vni' repo url: http://vni.org.ua/crux/ports/vni my vni.httpup: # # /etc/ports/vni.httpup: Vasylchyshyn Nikolay's port collection # ROOT_DIR=/usr/ports/vni URL=http://vni.org.ua/crux/ports/vni # End of file With best regards, Vasylchyshyn Nikolay.

All I asked for was the repo name and url. I wish people would stop insisting on sending their httpup files :) Anyway, it's added. It should show up in the next 24 hours or so.

Lucas, thank you very and very much! and sorry for .httpup. It's my mistake. (I'm looking right now at crux.nu/portdb/register and see in bold: "Please do not submit .httpup files, only the URL for the repository. This means the URL to the repository itself, not portspage or other indexes."... Oops) Thanks once again! With best regards, Vasylchyshyn Nikolay.
