Hi all, this morning I installed CRUX 3.3 in my Lenovo 50/50 Desktop PC. I had no problem at all, but when I tried to update there was no success in updating bindutils-9.10.4-1 to bindutils-9.10,5-1. In fact, downloading 'ftp://ftp.isc.org/isc/bind9/9.10.5/bind-9.10.5.tar.gz' fails since connecting to ftp.isc.org always times out. Owing to the important role of bindutils, I fear that this could constitute a problem in the future managing of informations about DNSs. Is this possible? What to do to overcome the obstacle? I would much appreciate an help. Thanks.
I'm behind a collosal heap of firewalls and I can get to it, maybe see if something is up with your ISP? On Aug 3, 2017 10:23 AM, "Giorgio Cittadini" <giocitta@gmail.com> wrote:

You could manualy download the file from Romster's server ( http://crux.ster.zone/distfiles) to your PKGMK_SOURCE_DIR and retry the update. The checksums (.md5sum or .sigature if enabled) for that port should catch any difference compared with the official url.
