[ANN] CRUX 2.8 x86 alpha (rc0) test ISO available
Greetings, A pre-release ISO for CRUX 2.8 x86 is available for testing and feedback. This ISO is similar to what will be included in the official 2.8 release using a new glibc and toolchain as well as X11R7.7. CRUX 2.8 x86 will be the final 'official' x86 release of CRUX before switching official support to the x86_64 architecture as per the 'CRUX next II' email at [1]. Please feel free to test and report any issues you encounter! The ISO can be found here: http://crux.nu/files/pre-releases/crux-2.8-rc0.iso http://crux.nu/files/pre-releases/crux-2.8-rc0.md5 Thanks, The CRUX Team [1] http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.linux.distributions.crux.devel/2304

What about make a ISO that can be bootable on a USB stick? -- thiagoc "O povo não deveria temer o governo. O governo é quem deveria temer o povo." V de Vingança

the iso should already be hybrid i.e. you can simply dd it to a USB stick and boot from it.
Nice, I will try that :-) -- thiagoc "O povo não deveria temer o governo. O governo é quem deveria temer o povo." V de Vingança
