I did a fresh 2.2 install on a spare box to see if i'd come across any issues when updating it to 2.3. First off, the 2.2 install was very straight forward with very few extra packages. only slim and openbox was installed. The initial upgrade with a 2.3-cd went well and i only observed a few issues: after rejmerging and reconfiguring xorg, X won't start: Fatal server error: "could not open default font 'fixed'" I had to mkfontdir & mkfontscale manually. Also, xorg.rsync is not included on the cd. rc.d/net gets overwritten which could cause problems, atleast for headless systems. -- Fredrik Rinnestam
