i finally installed CRUX but when i did this: Xorg -configure my screen went blank and never came back. i know it takes 2-3 seconds till X writes its "xorg.conf.new" file but i did wait for 5 minutes and my screen never came , it HUNG right there , blank in my face. then i tried "Ctrl-Alt-backspace" and nothing happended, i did "Ctrl-Alt-Del" and nothing happened. i tried those key combinations for 5-7 times and nothing happened then after 2-3 minutes suddenly it rebooted. what was wrong ? how could i make it right ? -- http://arnuld.blogspot.com/

Do you mind to send more info about your harware? Maybe something wrong with video drivers? Have you tried do this from root account? Normal one? You could try "xorgconfig" instead. Or just use the xorg.conf from your Gentoo installation, and adjust that to CRUX.
