Problem with libdbusmenu-glib

Hi, I decided to make a fresh (re)install of my OS following the 3.8 release. Things look good, but I hit my first major issue. I cannot build libdbusmenu-glib. I didn't tinker with the package and see folowing error message: configure.ac:193: the top level configure.ac:221: warning: AC_OUTPUT should be used without arguments. configure.ac:221: You should run autoupdate. configure:3527: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_NLS If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow. See the Autoconf documentation. autoreconf: error: /usr/bin/autoconf failed with exit status: 1 =======> ERROR: Building '/usr/ports/contrib/libdbusmenu-glib/libdbusmenu-glib#18.10-2.pkg.tar.gz' failed. prt-get: error while install -- Packages where install failed libdbusmenu-glib [pre: ok] Any idea what might be wrong? something regarding gettext, a problem that showed itself already with the latest nmap update. I pushed a fix that should make the build work. Best regards, Tim

Hello, Thank Tim -- it works! But there is the same issue with the libdbusmenu-gtk3 port. Oh, I noticed the libdbusmenu-gtk2 port. I don't need it, but run a test. The same issue. Best, Wawrzek On Mon, 12 May 2025 at 06:09, Tim Biermann via CRUX <crux@lists.crux.nu> wrote:

perfect, I'm checking each of these ports now to see what else needs the fix. Thanks for the report and checks!
