I installed xdm via prt-get. When I run it, there is nowhere for me to enter my username and password. There is a grey box with the X logo, but nowhere for me to actually type in the credentials. Has anyone else had this issue with xdm from the repos? Does it not come with usable defaults with the expectation that I will know how to tweak it into a usable config? I'm not really asking for support, just wondering if I am the only one to experience this.

Are you sure you starts XDM? Wawrzek
Have you tried putting it in .xinitrc? I'm not sure running it on its own will produce normal results, but I might be wrong... On 7/14/14, Wawrzek Niewodniczanski <main@wawrzek.name> wrote:
