fb1024 boots nicely, until:

     * Mounting cdrom at...
     mount: Can't find /newroot/cdrom in /etc/fstab

 From now on, any access to /newroot/* fails. The inevitable ending:

     Kernel panic -  not syncing: Attempted to kill init!

I'll happily test every version until it works!
