I do not have x86_64 version of Crux installed yet, but I will install
it next weekend. I just wanted to know if VMWare would work before
installing Crux x86_64.

VMWare supports 32-bit guests only, regardless of host
(http://www.vmware.com/news/releases/ws5.html).
