Hello, I'm not really a fan of installer GUI's, because they hide things from the user. Also bear in mind CRUX's target audience is not people that know nothing about linux. Having a graphical installer will result in a disappointment when they see myhost login: on first boot ;-) Hannes Mayer wrote:
Hi, i've question.
At the moment I am building a GUI Installer for CRUX and I want to ask if there a some Interessts on it. Its based on GTKFB ( GTK - DirectFB - Backend) so that it won't take many space on a CD (10~MB its not finished today). I think to use CRUX is a very simpel thing, but the Installation is to difficult for some people who are not so confirm in Linux.
