As many of you know I try to port Cinnamon to Crux. But on the road I saw that many things depend on systemd. So I wonder why Crux is one of the last distros who refuses to use it. I ask this because on Cinnamon we have two choices: - use systemd. - use polkit, consolekit and pam. and make our own sysvinit scripts for some services like colord and polkit-gnome. For the last one I ask help on the ML but no help so far. Regards, Roelof Wobben
