git over http proxy problem
Hi, I'm trying to clone the crux-repository and have some problems. git clone git://crux.nu/system/iso.git works fine, but only at home on my computer which is directly connectet to the internet. Trying it with http, don"t work: git clone http://crux.nu/system/iso.git Initialized empty Git repository in /crux-cd/iso/.git/ fatal: http://crux.nu/system/iso.git/info/refs not found: did you run git update-server-info on the server? As far as I found out is that on repository-server there some things has to be done to get it run. My problem is that I have to use crux at work, behind firewalls and proxys, the only way for me is http. Does anyone has put this to work? Is there a mirror I could use? Ideas? Volker
