Has anyone made port of Chromium that does not require gconf, which, last time I checked, had a rather long list of deps? Some distros use a hack to trick Chrome/Chromium: symlinking libBrokenLocale.so.1 to libgconf-2.so.4 There is Iron browser[1], based on Chromium source, without tracking 'features', but available in binary form only(source is offline atm). I am curious to try Chrome, but not that curious to install half of Gnome(I exaggerate, I know) just for that :) [1]http://www.srware.net/en/software_srware_iron_chrome_vs_iron.php Pedja -- hardware stress fractures
