psmisc updating failed

Updating psmisc failed (see below). The Pkgfile points to a repository and file http://dl.sourceforge.net/psmisc/psmisc-22.3.tar.gz which is invalid. However http://superb-east.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/psmisc/psmisc-22.3.tar.gz is a valid archive, so I just changed the Pkgfile and then everything went fine after fixing the md5 and a pkgmk -u. In principle the Pkgfile is correct. Ahh yes the ago old debate. Personally I would like to see both intergrated. I like the mailinglist because it comes to me, with a web forum you have to go to it. I do believe a web forum would open up crux to more users (user friendly), modern looking, etc.... It also provides a searchable archive (I know crux has one already). Perhaps something like the following is an option. The best of both worlds one could say.... It also addresses another concern of a fragmented user community. Building X11R7.1

Hi Guys, I'm currently reinstalling CRUX (due to a HDD failure), and decided to try out Danm's v2.2 AMD64 test build. Being one for trying new stuff, I've successfully installed the latest kernel revision and have decided to try out X11R7.1 from X.org (If I stuff it up, nothing's lost due to being a clean install). Anyway, I'm only getting about 90% the way through the install, with an error on xkbcomp causing a floating point exception when rebuilding the keyboard template files? I've googled quite a bit and haven't come across anyone else with the same error. That leads me to believe that it may be distro related, rather than a bug in X (but if it's s bug, does anyone have a patch?). Or could it be related to GCC 4.0.3? (I know there are issues with Mozilla and gcc4.0.3). So if anyone has successfully built X11R7.1 on CRUX v2.2 (AMD64) using gcc 4.0.3, can you please let me know how and what you did? If an upgrade to gcc 4.1.x is required, some pointers on the best way to update it would be appreciated. I'm trying to install straight from the bz2 tarballs (using that script provided), and have read through the README several times... (I don't have an active internet connection at home, and the firewall at work currently blocks git:// so can't get the absolutely bleeding edge source). Cheers, Darran PS. md5sum of crux-2.2.iso on primary source wrong!?

Hi, could someone (maybe Per) please check the crux-2.2.iso on the primary host? Does this go along with more of the smart ass shit.......laugh! Because the hosts file is for loop back 127.0.0.1 and any machine identification on a network in case of no DNS resolving....../etc/resolv.conf..... Go back to when this first started.......I did not rant sir.... I am trying to learn why sometimes ports source code does not download......and so I posted a conversation piece to learn why...! I was met with a sarcastic little response from a guy before you.....then a sarcastic response from you......so, I said F&^%-it and will just do it manual and go back to my classes. I do not have time to develope packages, I am in school with 16 credit hours......and work 15 hours a week.....hardly time for developement of an OS and its package management system. So I use Crux because it is lite and is pretty understandable by the common student who uses it in place of Microsoft or its office tools. So again sir....with all due respect to your knowledge of this issue, you in fact were a smart ass in your first reply to me before you knew my intentions......email lists have a way of hiding "Our" facial expressions or tones of voice.....
